MOC Maker Mondays [MMM] 15 - You Choose My Next Build!
This post is unfortunately being done on a Tuesday as I have been sick. We had a suggestion of doing Modular Castle builds by Lego_Luigi_Time and to do Wargs by Jharrison11.
I think the Fenrir by Brickjester (https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-98876) is a majestic build for a Warg proxy. As many builds in minifigure scale are difficult to look better than a minecraft build.
I will attempt a modular Castle with four components. A wall segment, turret, gatehouse, and corner. This will depend on the amount of time I have available. In other news, this is sadly the end of MOC Maker Mondays for the time being. After this finale I will have to step away for a time, as I am starting Graduate school soon. I may be gone for 12 - 16 months or longer. I hope to build some MOCs while I am away if time permits. However, the amount of time needed to produce a decent MOC weekly is incredibly straining. My premium MOCs normally ended with me working on instructions and renders for 10 to 12 hours every Saturday and Sunday. This of course has been dropped recently for season three to give me more free time. In the course of four months I published 34 MOCs with a final piece count of 43,899 parts. With MMM 14 and MMM 15 I will be over 44,000 parts. Most likely pushing 45,000 or 46,000 parts. Furthermore, I produced over 500 renders and over 3000 pages of instructions with an additional 800 pages of unreleased instructions.
In that same period of time I have gained 155 of you lovely people following me. I would like to thank you all. I always thought no one wanted to see what I produced. As most people in life scoff at my hobby, something I am passionate about but struggle with the time and energy to truly dedicate myself to it.

My most viewed MOC is the Assault Ornithopter at ~2,200, followed by my Rishi Cargo Shuttle at ~1900, then the British Mark IV tank at ~850 views on rebrickable.
I chose to start taking suggestions for builds because I wanted to increase the appeal of MOCs and accessibility. Commissions are out of reach for most people due to cost. I wanted the opportunity to make other people dreams and white whale MOCs to be within their grasp.
For many parts of the world $5 USD, or $10 USD is a drop in the bucket that they spend on hobbies. In many other parts of the world, or struggling to get by, that is an insurmountable cost. So far the labour put into my creations is around ~ $0.05 USD per hour before commission from Rebrickable, Stripe, and Tax. Around the cost of a single Lego brick.
As a reminder every Monday, I’ll be taking your suggestions for my next LEGO MOC design.
Here’s how it works: 1. Leave a comment with your idea - vehicle, aircraft, artillery, spaceship, scenery, whatever you’d like to see me build. 2. The most popular suggestions will either be put in a poll, or selected for the next MOC build. 3. The winner goes into my build queue - and when it’s finished, I’ll release the instructions here on Rebrickable (either free or for no more than $10 USD).
Rules: 1. Please stay in theme with the series. The first MOC of each season dictates the theme. Each season is five MOCs. 2. If you have been chosen already within the same season you will not be selected again. As this gives other people a chance. 3. Please choose MOCs that are realistically feasible to be completed within a week. For example the Assault ornithopter is at the upper limit, as the instructions alone were over 400 pages.

A few news for update. I am still sick, but that is the least of my concern. I flew across Canada to head home, as one of my grandparents is in the process of passing away. I have been spending my time recently with them.
Additionally I no longer have a laptop at my disposal. This is the end of MMM. I wish I had the time, energy, and resources to continue pursuing it. Once I finish grad school, and start working again I should be able to start back up. I am sorry for the late update, and I thank you all for your support. I look forward to coming back.
Those are some incredible stats! Reddit and Instagram are definitely great ways to get your MOCs out there.
As for ideas, you've already bricked my previous idea for this season, but if no one else has anything, I'd say (within the medieval/fantasy theme) a lonely castle tower on a hill. A perfect design to top it off and use some SNOT techniques.

Additionally I no longer have a laptop at my disposal. This is the end of MMM. I wish I had the time, energy, and resources to continue pursuing it. Once I finish grad school, and start working again I should be able to start back up. I am sorry for the late update, and I thank you all for your support. I look forward to coming back.
