The Designer Dashboard is a central place for all data relevant to the MOCs you have submitted to Rebrickable. It can help you identify issues and provide insights into the performance of your MOCs. To access it, click on the Account > Designer Dashboard.
The dashboard has many sub pages which can be accessed by a menu on the side if on a large screen, or a toolbar across the top if on a small screen. Click each symbol below to jump to the section of the help page.
Overview
The overview page gives you some overall stats for your MOCs and some graphs showing sales perfomance per year and per month since you started listing MOCs.
The green bars represent MOC sales, and the lines show the number of MOCs that were released in each time period. Note the black line includes both free and premium MOCs. On the $ Earnings/year graph the current year has a faded bar which is your estimated sales for the year if sales for the rest of the current year follow the same trend.
There is also an All MOC Views/month chart for the last 12 months which again has a line for the numbers of MOCs released each month. If these numbers are dropping it might be time to release some more MOCs!
MOC Analytics
You can jump straight to MOC Analytics by clicking Account > MOC Analytics, or you can use the menu from any other part of the designer dashboard. It has more detailed data on the recent performance of your MOCs. For free plan you get 30 days, pro 90 days, and designer 1 year. Regardless of your plan, the date range will default to the last 30 days and can be edited. You can download data before it expires by clicking Download.
The top has some high level stats on your performance in the specific date range.
Clicking on a specific MOC in the table filters all charts to just show the stats for that MOC.
Hover your mouse over a graph to see what the different colours represent.
Vertical lines show when you released a MOC so you can clearly see the impact.
The Impressions graph (designer plan) and shows you where users are seeing thumbnails of your MOC. This can help you understand how people are finding your MOC. Read more abour MOC Spots here.
The All MOC Views chart shows how many times your MOC(s) were viewed per day. If the view was as a result of clicking on a Featured MOC spot (designer plan), they will show up as a Promoted View.
There are two graphs for Sales. The first shows number of sales and will show you what type of user made the purchase (guest/follower/other). The second graph shows earnings.
The All MOC Likes chart (Pro/Designer Plans) shows the number of likes per day. If any Likes were removed from your MOCs they are deducted from the total, so it is possible to see a negative value on this chart.
The All MOC BI Downloads chart (Pro/Designer Plans) counts the number of times any of your MOC files are downloaded per day. It includes both Free and Premium MOC files. Note that MOCs can have multiple files, and each file could be downloaded multiple times.
After the first batch of graphs is the MOC table. This allows you to easily compare different MOCs by sorting on the different columns. You can click on a MOC name to show the stats for just that MOC, or click to go to the MOC page.
The Referral Sites chart shows you where people have come from to view your MOCs. These websites have linked directly to your MOCs and this chart counts how many times people have followed those links. It is a good way to see how effective your off-site promotions e.g. on social media have been.
There are some special cases such as "search engine" which is a combination of Google/Bing/others; and "direct" which is traffic that comes from bookmarks or non-webbrowser apps that we can't track. Direct, Rebrickable, and Search Engine are turned off by default as these usually drown out the other sources. You can click any of the sources in the legend to toggle if they are shown on the graph or not.
The Total Follows chart (Pro/Designer Plans) shows both follow and unfollow activity. New followers are counted in blue above the line, while unfollows are counted in red below the line.
The Designer Rank chart (Designer Plan) shows your daily rank. It is an indicator of how well you are performing in terms of total views of all your MOCs over the last 30 days.
MOC Sales has some more detailed information about your sales. Unlike the MOC Analytics tab you will have access to all time data for your sales. There is some high level stats in the top including any currently due invoices and uninvoiced commissions.
The Earnings graph can be filtered to a specific MOC and will show the 5 most popular MOCs in different colours by default.
Referrers and MOC Spots graphs give more information about where your sales are coming from. Read more about MOC Spots here.
If there is an issue with one of your MOCs, such as an inventory error on an alternate build it will show up on this tab. Please fix all errors as soon as you are able. See Fixing MOC Inventory Errors page for more info.
MOC Thumbs
The following data shows the number of times your MOC thumbnail images were shown to users on Rebrickable (impressions) and the rate at which people clicked on them (CTR). It shows data for the last 31 days compared with the last 7 days.
Your main MOC image is the one shown in thumbnails and is the primary method to attract viewers/buyers to your MOCs. Try experimenting with different images to see if your click-through-rate (CTR) improves. Looks at the best performing MOCs to get ideas for how you can improve your images.
You can sort the MOCs by clicking headings or the dropdown to see which MOCs are performing better.
MOC Comments
Here you can see which of your MOCs attracted the most comments, and helps you get an idea if those comments are mostly positive or negative in nature. It only counts top-level comments (i.e. no replies), and excludes your own comments.
The sentiment analysis can be wrong at times, but the more comments the more accurate it will be. These scores are NOT shown anywhere else or used in any way other than as an interesting datapoint on this page. If a MOC is attracting negative comments, you should investigate why and fix any issues being reported. Note that we will not remove negative comments if they are valid complaints.
Worried you have missed any fan photos? This page shows the most recent 50 photos that have been uploaded by fans of your MOCs. You can click on the MOC or username for more info.
Latest Comments
This page helps you track recent comments and if you have responded to them. Reply To column shows which of your comments the user was replying to. If this column is blank, then it is a top level comment. Last Reply column shows if you have repplied to the user.
Workbench Stats
This page helps you see how popular your workbench posts are. Posting updates too often may see you lose followers, or have them turn off notifications. Similar to MOC analytics you will have 30 days of data on the free plan, 90 for pro, and 1 year for designers.
There is also a table where you can see more data about click through rates (CTR) and other engagement with your posts. Again you can sort by clicking the column headings.
Search Stats
See which search queries are being used to find your MOCs and how well they convert. Alternatively, click on a specific search term to see which of your MOCs are ranking for that term.
Some definitions:
the Competitiveness of the query indicates how many MOCs rank well for the term
the Value of the query is an indicator of how many Premium MOCs that were sold related to the term
Impressions are the number of times your MOCs were displayed in search results for the term
Avg Rank is the average position in the search results (#1 being first top-left result)
Clicks is the number of times one of your MOCs was viewed from the search page
CTR is the Click-Through-Rate and is simply Clicks/Impressions
By using the All Search Queries view, you can also see which search queries are the most popular on Rebrickable for a time period. Allowing you to target high value/low competitiveness terms if you want ideas for new MOCs!
