Minifigs
There are five minifigs in the set: Emmet, Wyldstyle, and 3 Robo SWAT guys all with the same body armour but various weapons and headgear. One of them has a cool looking pair of night-vision goggles.
Build
Book #1 builds the first 3 minifigs, the roll-out Spike Strip and the Cycle. The Spike Strip doesn't actually have any spikes on it, but rather uses upside down tread links to allow it to roll out. The white technic beam seems to be designed to allow you to flick it and let the strip roll out, which sort of works.
The Cycle is pretty crazy looking. The front wheel consists of two pulley wheels with belts, while the back is a large 40 tooth gear with the tank treads surrounding it. It uses a lot of mis-matched stickers on nearly every available space to make it look like it has been thrown together from different structures.
There are a lot of non-standard joins in this build, with parts sticking out all over the place, and sideways joins everywhere. While this makes it look cool, there are a few delicate parts that keep falling off while trying to handle it.
Book #2 builds the remaining 2 minifigs and the Super Secret Police Truck which is definitely my favourite part of this set. It starts off as what feels like a solid rectangular block of boring, but then as you start to add all the paneling and add-on features it starts to look great.
There is a small flip up section at the back which stores some dynamite. There are the side mounted missile launchers which fold away under the truck, in a similar fashion to the other Super Secret Car seem in Bad Cop's Pursuit. The roof comes off easily and there is room for two minifings as long as they are not side by side as their arms get in each others way.
The truck is built very sturdily and easily handles some pretty rough play (which is the only way to play!). The Balloon Tyres are great at giving it some bounce and an off-terrain feel.
Summary
With two great looking vehicles and 5 minifigs, this is a pretty awesome set with plenty of playability. So far this police truck and the flying police car from 70802 Bad Cop's Pursuit are my favourite vehicles from the movie sets. I just wish there were more than two of them!
